Material Selection
Most precision industrial foam projects should start with IXPE. Evaluate IXPP for higher heat, stiffness or stricter engineering conditions, and use XPE for basic insulation, protection or cost-sensitive scenarios.
IXPE is Hongtai's main material focus: irradiation cross-linked polyethylene foam with fine, uniform cells, low odor, low water absorption and strong secondary processing performance.
IXPP is Hongtai's high-performance foam capability: irradiation cross-linked polypropylene foam for higher heat resistance, stiffness, dimensional stability and clean industrial applications.
XPE is retained as a basic cross-linked PE foam option for insulation, packaging, flooring underlayment and other cost-sensitive protection applications.
